New CSA Shares for 2022

Chatham Flower Farm's CSA flower subscription provides our customers with the opportunity to regularly receive premium, sustainably grown flowers, freshly harvested from our farm all summer long.

This offers an alternative to imported grocery store bouquets. We put a great deal of love and care into our flowers and want to share with our customers. They are grown without chemicals, using  organic techniques that give back to the earth. Buying a flower subscription  is a wonderful opportunity to get flowers guaranteed to be fresh, fragrant, and full of life every week.

What is a CSA?

CSA is an abbreviation for Community Supported Agriculture. When you become a member of our CSA, you are buying a "share" of the flowers that we produce each season.

For twelve or twenty weeks (depending on the share you choose), we will arrange the season's most beautiful flowers for you and have them available for pick-up at our farm or pickup while at the Farmer's Market in your area. Our CSA members, by paying for a share up front, support us as we plan for the coming season. Your payment enables us to purchase new and exciting flower and seed varieties, restock supplies, make repairs, and invest in equipment and infrastructure. Your support helps to make the success of our season possible and be able to provide you and our community with beautiful cut flowers on a regular basis.

Floral Full Season Shares & Half Season Shares

With our farm shares you will receive one arranged and beautifully hand-tied bouquet , jam-packed with seasonal fresh blooms and wrapped in paper. These bouquets are perfect for any flower lover’s home, as a gift, or for a business front entrance. This is a great way to enjoy the vibrant beauty of our flowers all week long and support your local farms. Our CSA customers receive added value in their bouquets each week.

CSA Share Pricing

• Early Summer 1/2 Share (June through August) -$350.00

• Full Season - $675.00( June through late October)

• Add Ons to any CSA:

• Added bouquets (up to 3 more bunches) -$25 /bunch

• Non GMO Brown & Blue mixed Eggs by Dozen - $4.25 or 18 at $6.25

• We will be offering Pick Up at the farm on Fridays only. Hours will be 10Am to 5 Pm. We ask that ALL CSA’s be pre-paid via Credit Card (through Square Invoice, Square Point of Sale, over the phone or Venmo). Checks are also acceptable, but CC is preferred. NO CASH.

We will also be offering some ( Upper Shore only) delivery options on Friday mornings (8am - 10am). We will drop off at your door for only a small fee attached to your CSA subscription. I do ask that, if you can come to us at the farm , that is easiest. I am the only one that handles our deliveries, so I will text you when I’m on my way to you to drop off and any special instructions. Other options are pick up at our local farm markets ( we will let you know where we will be weekly) and markets are subject to change.

Flowers By The Stem Or Bucket

Pre-Orders by the stem or bucket allow you to pick exactly what you want for your own bouquet or DIY designs. You can let us know what color and size you are interested in or if you are looking for a specific flower. Ask us for a current listing of varieties by color and size. Please note that if a specific flower requested is not available, we will try to provide a similar alternative. Buckets are usually discounted by 5%, not including specialty varieties (Cafe Au Lait Dahlias, Coral Charm Peonies for example)

• Smalls: $1.50 / stem

• Medium: $1.90 / stem

• Large: $2.90 / stem

• Specialty Varieties- $3.50 - $7.00/stem

Things to keep in mind:
We ask you place a CSA subscription a minimum of two weeks prior to your expected delivery. That said ,we will try our best to accommodate with later notice. We offer our flowers on a first come, first serve basis  and cannot guarantee availability of an individual variety, but we are happy to suggest an alternative. Our standard stem length is approximately 10" but if you need longer, let us know and we will try to accommodate. Please keep in mind that our farm is at the mercy of mother nature, our season generally lasts from early May to late October, but can vary.

Pickup, Delivery & Shipping

At this time we do not ship our flowers. Our flowers are available for pick up on the farm on Fridays for 2022. For those who are not able to pick up our flowers at the farm, there are a couple of other options. Every week from June through October we sell our flowers to the public at our market locations. Every Saturday we will be at a local market on the ESVA, either Pearl Market in Cape Charles or Chincoteague Market on the island . We may switch a few of these up during the summer. Need to know where we will be on a specific week? Email us or give us a call. You can arrange delivery of your CSA bouquets to our stand at any of these Farmer's Market for you to pick up.

** Please Note; at this time we DO NOT have a full farm market schedule, as we plan on adding a few new spots this year.

We will have fresh seasonal cut flowers by the stem, as well as pre-arranged bunches to the farmers' markets in Cape Charles , Chincoteague(possibly) and Lewes , DE . These will compliment any CSA bunch or can be added to by the Stem. Inspired by nature and changing with the season, we harvest only the best of what is blooming each day.
